We’re pretty certain Sony won’t support any funny business with stuff you’ve got from the American store though, as you’re not meant to have access to it.
Since we’ve never actually used PlayStation Plus we’ll defer to a reader’s advice.
Basically, as you can register onto different PlayStation 3 consoles and access their downloads when you do so, what are the rules on PlayStation Plus? For arguments sake if one profile was to download a PlayStation Plus game, but it was downloaded by a different profile would the rules automatically kick in after the subscription ends or would the content then be unlocked for the other person but not the original one?įurther to that question above, what if content was downloaded through the USA American store PlayStation Plus? Would the content be accessible afterwards with an English PlayStation Plus account as it is still the same membership or would it lock out anyway?Īs you can probably tell I have had the terrible (or clever) idea to buy games through that method above but if it doesn’t work then I’m not going to try. I have an odd query which I am hoping someone can answer for me, as I don’t want to throw my money away. GC: What does The Last Of Us have to do with Metal Gear? I really liked it up until it actually became impossible… My greatest disappointment however, was how poorly the single-player was balanced in Borderlands 2. It would be great to hear what other readers think on the subject. Despite similar Metacritic scores, the difference in quality between this game and The Last Of Us practically defies belief. I have never actually played a poorer PlayStation 3 game. A very poor excuse for a stealth shooter and, despite this, this game was greeted with raptures from some critics. Lastly and, I feel, about five times worse, is… Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. As an alternative, I would say that I found the looting and dungeon-crawling of Diablo III to be something of a delight, it really is so much more exciting…ģ. I know some people would say that the side quests are half the game, but I did play a few and found them no better. Controversial choice, I know, but I only really played the main quest (or as far as I could get before a massive difficulty spike stopped me dead), and I must say it really is very dull and very unimaginative. In addition I would say that the shooting, similar as it is, is superior in the half-finished-but-fun The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.Ģ. I found these games to be nothing more than bog standard shooters with a pretty lame plot and universe tacked on.
Now that we’ve had the weekend feature on launch titles readers are most looking forward to, I would like to offer up my thoughts on another pertinent topic: What is the most overrated game of the last generation? I have three main thoughts on the subject (and before I am shot down, I would say that these are just an opinion and everyone’s is different…).ġ. We certainly haven’t been sent any (just loose discs) but we do have a couple of Xbox One boxes and they’re the same size as a PlayStation 3 case, just without the rounded edges and a lot more green (and the reversed spindle, as you say). GC: Now you mention it we don’t remember ever seeing any PlayStation 4 cases. PS: I was interested to see that the Xbox One cases have the disc where the book should be and vice versa. It has just dawned on me, what are the game cases like for PlayStation 4 games? Are they different to the PlayStation 3 cases? I only ask as it would be disappointing if they were the same as every PlayStation console released so far has had a different case to the one released before it.
